My story… as a child art was my life. So naturally, the plan was to become a professional painter. Until one day, back some 20 years ago, I borrowed my Mom’s old Konica Minolta camera… and began taking photographs. Almost immediately I traded the paint brushes for old cameras and began shooting regularly (my collection of vintage cameras is around 40 last time I counted).

I attended the University of Michigan and majored in Photography.  During school I had some good luck and interned with renowned fashion photographer - Mario Testino.  After working with him in New York and London, I returned to Ann Arbor and finished up my BFA in Photography.

I have had the privilege of being a professional photographer for almost 15 years now. I travel all over the world, photographing weddings and portraits in Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, all across the continental US, and more.  I’m published; have won awards, etc etc. My client list includes: Adidas, Footlocker, Jelly Belly, Ford Modeling, Factor Women, to name a few.  Most importantley, I'm a pound father to my son, dedicated husband and family man.

Slack Photography, LLC believes in equal rights, and fully supports gay and lesbian marriages.  I also will not discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, religion, or nationality.

I have been incredibly fortunate in my career as a photographer. I owe it all to great clients.
