My story… as a child art was my life. So naturally, the plan was to become a professional painter. Until one day, back some 20 years ago, I borrowed my Mom’s old Konica Minolta camera… and began taking photographs. Almost immediately I traded the paint brushes for old cameras and began shooting regularly (my collection of vintage cameras is around 40 last time I counted).

I attended the University of Michigan with a focus on Fine Art Photography.  During school I had some good luck and landed an internship with Mario Testino in London.  Shortly after, I finished my BFA in Photography. After graduation – moved to Chicago.

Fast forward over a decade… I have had the privilege of being a professional photographer for almost 14 years now. I travel all over the world, photographing weddings and portraits in Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, all across the continental US, and more.  I’m published; have won awards, etc etc. My client list includes: Adidas, Footlocker, Jelly Belly, Ford Modeling, Factor Women, to name a few...

I am a Junior Board Member and volunteer photographer for Flashes of Hope, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to photographing pediatric cancer patients at Chicago based hospitals and summer camps around the Chicagoland area.

Slack Photography, LLC believes in equal rights, and fully supports gay and lesbian marriages.  I also will not discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, religion, or nationality.

I have been incredibly fortunate in my career as a photographer. I owe it all to great clients.
